The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has started crediting interest to EPF accounts for the financial year 2022-23. Subscribers can expect the interest amounts to reflect in their total PF balance soon. Some EPFO members have already received the interest amounts, and the current interest rate for FY 2022-23 is 8.15%.
In response to a query on social media, the provident fund regulatory body assured that the interest crediting process is underway and will be shown shortly. The interest will be accumulated and paid in full, with no loss of interest. EPFO has provided a dedicated portal for EPF members to access their account details.
