Rajput Leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Shot Dead in Jaipur

Jaipur witnessed a shocking incident today as Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a prominent Rajput leader and chief of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was shot dead outside his residence. The incident took place when Mr. Gogamedi was just outside his home, and two assailants on a scooter opened fire on him.

Along with Mr. Gogamedi, two of his associates also suffered gunshot wounds. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, Mr. Gogamedi succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead by the doctors. It’s important to note that the outfit led by Mr. Gogamedi is different from the Rajput Karni Sena, which gained attention for its protests against the Bollywood movie Padmaavat. In fact, Mr. Gogamedi had separated from the Karni Sena, then under the leadership of Lokendra Singh Kalvi, in 2015 to form his own organization.

According to sources, Mr. Gogamedi was shot in the head and chest. Visual evidence from the scene displayed a broken door and blood stains scattered on the floor.

The motive behind the attack and the identity of the assailants are still unknown, and the police are actively investigating the case. It remains to be seen whether this incident is connected to any ongoing disputes or conflicts in the region.
