In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Rohini, one person lost their life and another sustained injuries when a speeding bus collided with multiple cars and scooters. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras in the area. The accident took place near Vishram Chowk in Awantika around 2:45 pm.
One of the videos shows the electric bus forcefully dragging a car, an e-rickshaw, and a bike that were in its path. As the bus comes to a halt, it also crashes into several scooters parked on the pavement. Another video captured the terrifying sight of bystanders running for cover as the bus collides with cycles and scooters.
Witnesses, shocked and unable to comprehend what had just happened, rushed to the scene to check on the individuals affected by the bus. Unfortunately, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another sustained injuries. The police believe that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.
The driver has been taken into custody by the police, who have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
