Relative of Deve Gowda Demands Biker Apologize After Hitting Their Expensive Rs 1.5-Crore Car

A video showing Bhavani Revanna, the daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, verbally attacking a biker and boasting about the value of her car has sparked outrage online. The incident occurred in Saligrama, Udipi, around 400 km from Bengaluru, when the biker allegedly collided with Revanna’s Rs 1.5-crore Toyota Vellfire while attempting to overtake it. Although the details of who was at fault are unclear, social media users have criticized Revanna for her privileged behavior. The Janata Dal (Secular) and Revanna’s family have yet to respond to the incident. In the video, Revanna can be heard telling the biker to “go die under a bus” and questioning why he was driving on the wrong side. Revanna also repeatedly mentions the cost of her car. The video has garnered mixed reactions, with some calling Revanna “arrogant” and a “prima donna,” while others argue that the biker should not have been riding on the wrong side of the road. Revanna’s husband, HD Revanna, is an MLA, and her sons, Prajwal and Suraj Revanna, are an MP and MLC, respectively.
