Rock in Rio Lisboa unveils the final poster for the ‘Galp Stage’, featuring artists such as Europe, Hybrid Theory, and Pluto as new headliners.

The renowned music festival, Rock in Rio Lisboa, has recently announced the full line-up for the ‘Galp Stage’. In a statement, the festival organizers revealed that they have added a host of artists including Europe, Hybrid Theory, Filipe Karlsson, Anselmo Ralph, Pluto, Carolina de Deus, Soraia Ramos, as well as the DJs Diego Miranda and KURA to the bill.

This will be the 20th edition of the iconic Rock in Rio Lisboa festival, which is scheduled to take place on June 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2024. The ‘Galp Stage’ has a capacity to accommodate 20,000 spectators and will feature some of the festival’s headlining acts, including the previously announced performers such as James and Lukas Graham.

On the opening day of Rock in Rio Lisboa, June 15, the ‘Galp Stage’ will be graced by the Swedish band Europe, who are famously known for their hit song ‘The Final Countdown’. On the same day, the Portuguese bands Hybrid Theory and Pluto will also take to the stage, adding to the festival’s international appeal.

Following the opening day, Sunday, June 16, will see the ‘Galp Stage’ featuring performances by Carolina de Deus and DJ Diego Miranda. They will be sharing the stage with the already confirmed Lukas Graham and Jake Bugg. As the festival continues, Saturday, June 22, will see Filipe Karlsson and DJ and producer KURA joining the line-up, adding to the musical variety by performing alongside the band James.

The festival will conclude on a high note with African artist Anselmo Ralp and singer Soraia Ramos taking the ‘Galp Stage’ on the last day of Rock in Rio Lisboa. They will be joining forces with Luísa Sonza and Brazilian Pedro Sampaio, promising a memorable finale to the festival.

Consequently, the executive vice president of Rock in Rio, Roberta Medina, has stressed the importance of the ‘Galp Stage’. In her words, this stage “deserved greater prominence.”

Medina further elaborated, “The ‘Galp Stage’ has long deserved greater prominence in the festival, and this year we will be able to give it that prominence. With a larger infrastructure, it is possible for artists with larger productions to perform there, and with a clearing with more space, we can have an audience for 20,000 people,” she noted.
