Surprising Revelation: Pakistan Cricketer Reveals Greatest India Batter, and It’s Neither Sachin Tendulkar nor Virat Kohli!

Rohit Sharma has been labeled as the greatest Indian batter by Pakistani pacer Junaid Khan, surpassing the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Tendulkar and Kohli are widely regarded as two of the greatest batters of all time, holding numerous records in the game. Tendulkar currently holds the record for the most number of centuries in Test cricket (51), while Kohli recently surpassed him to become the batter with the most number of hundreds in ODIs. Tendulkar also holds the record for the highest run scorer in both Tests and ODIs, while Kohli holds the same record in T20Is.

However, Junaid Khan, who is currently out of favor with the Pakistan team, believes that Rohit Sharma deserves the title of the greatest Indian batter. When asked to choose between Tendulkar and Kohli, Junaid opted for the current Indian captain, citing his wide range of shots and his ability to score big runs. Junaid praised Rohit’s incredible knock of 264 in an ODI match, as well as his multiple double centuries in the format. Junaid also highlighted Rohit’s ability to hit the most number of sixes.

It is worth noting that Rohit had previously expressed his reluctance to play T20 cricket after the 2022 T20 World Cup, as he focused on the 50-over format. Recently, his request for a break from white-ball cricket in South Africa was accepted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), despite being offered the captaincy for the T20 series. Jasprit Bumrah has been named as Rohit’s deputy for the two Tests against South Africa.

While Rohit’s accolades continue to grow, it is clear that his performances on the field have caught the attention of players from rival teams as well. Junaid’s endorsement of Rohit as the greatest Indian batter adds to the ongoing debate surrounding the achievements of Tendulkar, Kohli, and now Rohit.
