According to Pueblo police, Yesenia, who was a mere 3 years old when last seen alive, had her remains found in a metal container filled with concrete. This container was found in a storage unit that had been abandoned due to non-payment of rent. The remains of Jezos Dominguez Jr, last seen at the tender age of 5, were found in a suitcase located in the trunk of a car at a scrap yard. The identification of the children was confirmed on February 15 after conducting a DNA test.

The search for the missing children commenced in early February. The investigation, conducted by the Special Investigations Unit, led to the arrest of Minharez and Dominguez. Prior to the arrest, authorities appealed for public assistance in locating Yesenia and Jezos Dominguez Jr. To date, the local police have only investigated the two arrested individuals, who remain the prime suspects.
The police have yet to disclose details concerning the relationship between the victims and the suspects. Currently, Minharez and Dominguez are in custody with their bail set at 2 million dollars. Should they be found guilty of the crimes they are accused of, they may face a life sentence in Colorado. Their next court appearance is set for the coming Wednesday.
