Russia claims to have shot down 97 Ukrainian drones in various combat zones within the past 24 hours. Additionally, the Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog has regained its power supply after a Russian attack left over 15,000 residents without electricity last Saturday. The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy stated that restoration work has been challenging, but power has been restored. One of Ukraine’s largest steel producers, Arcelormittal in Krivoy Rog, had to implement “crisis measures” due to the situation in the city. The power outages were caused by an attack involving drones, which were shot down by the city’s air defence, but their wreckage caused “damage in a substation and two high voltage lines.” The Ukrainian administration estimated that at least five of the drones were Iranian-made Shahed models.
