The Commander of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group, Oleksandr Tarnaskyi, has announced that the Russian S-300V4 air defence system was successfully destroyed by the defenders. Tarnaskyi made this revelation on his Telegram channel.
According to Tarnaskyi, the enemy carried out a total of 23 airstrikes, engaged in 44 combat clashes, and launched 888 artillery attacks on the Tavriia front. However, the Ukrainian soldiers stationed on the Avdiivka front remained resilient and were able to hold the line against the Russian offensive. The Russian forces were unsuccessful in their attempts to advance in the settlements of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sievierne, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Staromaiorske, and south of Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Rocket and Artillery Forces from the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group completed 1,241 fire tasks during the day. As a result of these operations, Russia suffered significant losses, with 542 casualties and the destruction of 46 military vehicles, including two tanks, three armoured personnel carriers, and seven artillery systems. Additionally, one anti-tank guided missile system, three air defence systems (including the S-300V4 system), 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), three vehicles, a unit of special equipment, an ammunition depot, and another important target were also destroyed.
