Ukrainian military forces are constantly finding innovative ways to target the rear facilities of Russian occupiers, coming up with highly inventive strategies. In a recent development, a video has emerged on social media showcasing the release of an FPV drone from a large Ukrainian UAV called the “Baba Yaga”.
Apart from its role as a “mothership” for “kamikaze” missions, the Baba Yaga drone also serves as a signal relay. This feature allows the second drone to conserve its battery power, enabling it to carry a heavier payload and infiltrate an additional 20-30 kilometers into enemy-controlled territory.
These clever tactics employed by the Ukrainian military have not been previously documented, highlighting their resourcefulness and determination in the face of the ongoing conflict.
