UN Special Envoy Pramila Patten’s Report Confirms Black Saturday Rapes

The UN Under-Secretary-General, Pramila Patten, who also serves as the Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, disclosed her investigative report on the atrocities committed by Gaza terrorists against Israeli women on Black Saturday on October 7. The unveiling of the report took place at a dedicated press conference.

The report, as confirmed by Pramila Patten, provides evidence of the heinous activities of Hamas terrorists, including rape and shooting of women in their naked state. The report also uncovers instances of sexual violence perpetrated against individuals abducted by Hamas, suggesting that the sexual abuse continues as long as the victims remain under the clutches of the terrorists. Patten makes a strong call for Hamas to release the hostages with immediate effect.

The release of the report comes a month subsequent to Pramila Patten and her team’s visit to Israel to gather supporting evidence of the sexual violence inflicted upon Israeli girls and women by Palestinian terrorists on October 7, 2023.

The report sheds light on numerous horrific accounts of rape, which includes gang rape, rape of dead bodies, sexual mutilation where women were shot in their private parts, breasts cut off and genitals mutilated. It also recounts the stripping, binding of hands and feet of the recovered bodies of the victims of Black Saturday, amongst many other gruesome details.

The complete report as compiled by Pramila Patten is slated to be made public on Monday evening.

In her capacity as the UN Under-Secretary-General, Pramila Patten spent a week in Israel. She was invited to the Jewish state by the department of international organizations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan.

During her visit, Patten interacted with victims of the violence, representatives of ZAKA, officials from the medical examiner’s office, law enforcement agencies, doctors, psychiatrists, and specialists who work with victims of sexual violence in the Ministry of Social Services. She also viewed a film compiled from video recordings of the October 7 massacre, and visited the destroyed villages in the south.

After watching the film, Patten confessed to her companions that she was unable to sleep for several days. She mentioned, “Only now I understand the scale of the tragedy. I saw here something that I have not seen anywhere else. The outside world cannot imagine this. Only now I understand the pain, resentment and anger of Israel at the world’s attitude towards what happened here,” as quoted by Israeli media.
