Virat Kohli’s Surprise Appearance on Domestic Flight Leaves Travelers in Awe – Must-Watch Video Takes the Internet by Storm

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has made history by equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s world record of scoring the highest number of centuries in One Day International (ODI) cricket. Kohli achieved this milestone during the Cricket World Cup 2023, where he smashed his 49th century against South Africa. Celebrating his 35th birthday, Kohli’s remarkable performance helped India maintain their unbeaten status in the competition.

In addition to his on-field achievements, Kohli also grabbed attention off the field when he was spotted boarding a domestic flight. Fellow travelers quickly recognized the former Indian captain and began taking pictures and videos of him inside the plane.

Kohli’s achievement of equaling Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries came during a match where India bowled out South Africa for a mere 83 runs in a comprehensive 243-run victory. This remarkable feat was accomplished at Kolkata’s iconic Eden Gardens, which was packed with approximately 70,000 fans. Kohli reached this milestone in 119 balls, including 10 fours.

Despite his incredible achievement, Kohli humbly acknowledged that Tendulkar remains in a league of his own. He expressed his honor in equaling his hero’s record and admitted that he could never be as good as Tendulkar, describing him as the epitome of batting perfection.

Kohli’s century (101*) played a crucial role in India’s total score of 326-5, and their strong bowling attack subsequently dismantled South Africa’s batting lineup. Kohli, along with Shreyas Iyer (77), formed a partnership of 134 runs for the third wicket. Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja was the star of the bowling attack, claiming figures of 5-33. South Africa’s total of 83 runs was their second-lowest in ODI history and their lowest ever in a World Cup match.

With this victory, India secured their position at the top of the pool phase, having recorded eight wins out of eight matches in the tournament. The Indian team continues to display their dominance and will undoubtedly be a force to reckon with in the Cricket World Cup 2023.
