Woman in Florida Allegedly Fires Sugar Daddy’s Gun During Love Triangle Car Shooting, Putting Baby at Risk, Authorities Report

A 20-year-old woman in Daytona Beach, Florida, was arrested for allegedly firing shots into another woman’s car during a violent confrontation. The incident occurred in front of an apartment complex on November 4th, with the suspect identified as Zehra Percy, who is believed to be involved in a love triangle with the victim’s boyfriend. According to witnesses, Percy fired multiple shots at the victim’s car while her 1-year-old child was in the backseat. The gun used in the attack belonged to Percy’s “sugar daddy.” The victim flagged down deputies and reported the incident, stating that she had noticed a suspicious car parked in front of their building in the days leading up to the shooting. When she parked near the car, she saw her boyfriend and daughter’s father exit an unknown apartment with Percy. Witnesses observed a verbal argument between the two women, leading to Percy retrieving an object from her car’s trunk and firing shots at the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene with an unidentified person. Fortunately, neither the woman nor her child were injured. Deputies discovered two shell casings and a live bullet near the apartment building but were unable to locate the gun. Percy was later identified in a lineup by a witness and apprehended during a traffic stop on November 10th. When asked to consent to a search of her vehicle, she claimed to have returned the gun to her “sugar daddy,” leaving its whereabouts and ownership unclear. Percy was taken into custody and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail, where she was held on a $5,000 bond before being released.
