14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Chip to Support Connection to Two External Monitors

Apple, the globally recognized technology powerhouse, has unveiled ambitious plans to enhance its MacBook Pro laptop range. The anticipated upgrade will equip these laptops with the ability to link two external monitors. This highly sought-after dual-monitor feature has already been made available for the new MacBook Air, which is equipped with the advanced M3 chip.

During a recent event, the tech giant introduced the new MacBook Air series available in 13 and 15-inch sizes. These latest models are powered by the impressive M3 processor and boast the unique ability to connect to two external monitors while the laptop lid is closed, enhancing user productivity and convenience.

However, this dual monitor support is currently not an available feature in the MacBook Pro models, which were unveiled in late October. Despite being equipped with the M3 generation chips, and being perceived as slightly superior to the MacBook Air in terms of range, the MacBook Pro models do not yet offer this capability.

Apple, however, is poised to change this situation. The company has confirmed to 9to5Mac that this sought-after dual monitor support will be introduced to the MacBook Pro models via a software update. Initially, this update will be released for the 14-inch laptop model, enhancing its capabilities and user experience.
