A $44 million winning lotto ticket in Florida has yet to be claimed, and time is running out. Florida Lotto officials have announced that the top-prize winning ticket remains unclaimed, with the deadline to claim the prize set for Monday, December 11, at midnight. The winning ticket, a “Quick Pick,” was purchased from the Sunoco Express in Kissimmee. The winning numbers for the June 14 drawing were 09-13-15-46-51-21. While winning tickets can be validated by any Florida Lottery retailer, the prize must be claimed at lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. According to state law, 80% of unclaimed prize funds from expired tickets are required to be transferred directly to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, while the remaining 20% is either returned to the prize pool for future awards or used for special promotions. The lucky winner has until the deadline to claim their life-changing prize.
