Gupta, who worked as a Program Manager Intern for Microsoft Office in 2003 and 2004, praised Nadella in response to his post about working with mission-driven individuals. In the midst of the OpenAI upheaval, the board that fired Altman has undergone significant changes, with only Adam D’Angelo, the CEO of Quora, remaining from the previous board. Joining D’Angelo are Bret Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce, and Larry Summers, former US Treasury Secretary and president of Harvard University.
