Actor Alan Ruck, Known for ‘Succession,’ Crashes Rivian Vehicle Into Hollywood Pizza Joint in Unusual Incident

Actor Alan Ruck was involved in a car accident on Tuesday night while driving his Rivian electric pickup truck. Ruck claims that he lost control of the truck and didn’t know what happened to cause it to accelerate through a red light and crash into two cars and a pizza restaurant in Hollywood.

According to local news outlet KTLA5, the 67-year-old actor was driving his grey Rivian R1T truck at around 9 PM on October 31. He had stopped at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard when suddenly, the truck accelerated and hit the rear of a car in front of it. It then collided with another car before crashing into the side of Raffallo’s Pizza shop.

Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. The LAPD does not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident, as reported by CBS News.

Fortunately, Ruck was not injured in the accident. However, one person did sustain injuries and was taken to the hospital, although the LA Fire Department states that the injuries are not considered serious.

As a result of the crash, Raffallo’s Pizza has been “yellow tagged” by law enforcement, preventing it from reopening for business at this time.

Despite the severity of the accident, Ruck’s primary concern was the well-being of others involved. According to witness accounts, he immediately asked if everyone else was okay and expressed concern that he may have hit someone.
