Abigail Breslin has made serious allegations against her co-star Aaron Eckhart, accusing him of “aggressive, demeaning, and unprofessional” behavior on the set of the film “Classified.” These bombshell allegations have come to light in a new lawsuit filed by the film’s producers, who are suing Breslin for not signing contracts to release the film.
According to the lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Breslin’s claims led to a nearly halted production as she refused to be alone with Eckhart. The producers had to make costly accommodations to accommodate her demands in order for the production to continue. Breslin reportedly wrote a letter to SAG-AFTRA, expressing her fears and criticizing Eckhart’s behavior.
However, the producers conducted an investigation into Breslin’s allegations and found no evidence to support her claims. They described her accusations as “wild, hysterical, and imaginary.” The production treated the allegations seriously and prepared a detailed report based on the investigation.
The action-thriller “Classified,” which also stars Tim Roth, wrapped shooting in May in Malta. The production claims that the unnecessary accommodations made for Breslin, based on her specious claims, cost them over $80,000. Additionally, there are delivery issues to distribution partners due to the limited scenes where Breslin and Eckhart appear together.
Both sides have attempted to settle their differences, but Breslin’s team is demanding a payment of $35,000 as a condition for completing the paperwork. The production company has labeled this demand as “extortion.” Breslin is now facing a lawsuit for at least $80,000 in damages.
It should be noted that these allegations and the ongoing legal battle have caused significant financial issues for the film’s production. The lawsuit highlights the impact of Breslin’s claims on the project and the difficulties faced in moving forward.
