Ashneer Grover Criticizes Shark Tank India 3, Says “Quantity is Not the Solution…”

BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover recently expressed his views on the third season of Shark Tank India, stating that the show’s decision to have 12 judges instead of the usual six made it seem like an audition for the next season. Grover took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his thoughts, saying, “Shark Tank 3 is ‘audition’ of sharks for Shark Tank 4! Life mein ek lesson hai — don’t change and make unnecessary problems of something which is already solved. Wish quantity solves for quality!”

The tweet by Grover sparked a discussion among users, with one user commenting, “Still they’re unable to get your replacement! The audience loved you as a Shark! Let’s see when will you make the comeback!” Another user expressed their disappointment in the show, saying, “Show was dead after s1.”

Some users echoed Grover’s sentiment, emphasizing the importance of not fixing something that isn’t broken. One user remarked, “The original season still remains in a league of its own.” Another user highlighted Grover’s impact on the show, stating, “These guys are struggling really hard to get the same TRP as Season 1 when you had driven the show single-handedly.”

Meanwhile, Shark Tank India announced the addition of six new Sharks for the third season, bringing the total number of judges to 12. The show’s official social media account shared the news, stating, “This new season, the stakes are going to be higher, with 12 SHARKS in the TANK! Introducing Ritesh Agarwal, Varun Dua, Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Radhika Gupta, and Ronnie Screwvala as the 6 new Sharks of Shark Tank India Season 3.”

It remains to be seen how the audience will respond to the new season and whether the increased number of judges will have a positive impact on the show’s ratings.
