Bengaluru School Sends Urgent Email to Alarmed Parents Following Unforeseen Bomb Threat

In a shocking incident, 44 schools in Bengaluru received a bomb threat email, causing panic among students, staff, and parents. The police immediately conducted searches in all the schools after being alerted about the situation. Bomb disposal teams were also dispatched to the scene, but so far, no suspicious objects have been found in any of the schools.

Upon learning about the bomb threat, parents rushed to the schools in a state of panic to ensure the safety of their children. Neev Academy in Bellandur, one of the affected schools, took the initiative to inform parents about the “unexpected situation” through a mail.

The school’s mail to parents read, “We are encountering an unexpected situation at school today. The school has received a security threat from unknown sources. As we prioritize the safety of our children, we have decided to disperse the students immediately.” The school also requested parents to remain calm and refrain from overwhelming them with phone calls during this critical time. The letter emphasized that the staff would take care of the students until they safely reached home.

In response to the bomb threat, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar visited one of the schools near his residence. It is worth noting that last year, several schools in Bengaluru also received bomb threats, which turned out to be hoaxes.

The authorities are currently investigating the source of the bomb threat email and taking necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of all the schools in Bengaluru.
