Actress Brooke Shields has shared a remarkable story of how Bradley Cooper came to her aid during a medical emergency in New York City. Shields explained in an interview with Glamour that she suffered a seizure in September after drinking excessive amounts of water. The incident occurred at the L’Artusi restaurant while she was conversing with the sommelier. Shields described the terrifying experience, stating that she suddenly collapsed, hitting her head against the wall and foaming at the mouth, while struggling to swallow her tongue. The next thing she knew, she was being loaded into an ambulance with Cooper by her side, holding her hand. Shields admitted that the experience felt surreal, as she never expected to wake up and find Bradley Cooper there supporting her. It was later revealed that Cooper happened to be in the vicinity at the time and decided to accompany Shields to the hospital when her husband could not be reached. Shields thankfully survived the incident, although she discovered that she had low sodium levels due to excessive water intake. As part of her treatment, doctors have instructed her to consume potato chips daily.
