Netflix, a streaming service known for its TV shows and movies, is expanding its offerings to include mobile games. In October, Netflix Games will be adding two spooky games just in time for Halloween. The exact release dates for these games have not been announced yet.
One of the games being added is “Dead Cells: Netflix Edition.” This award-winning roguelike platformer game is not specifically Halloween-themed, but it features intense action and the challenge of fighting through creatures and dungeons to defeat the king. In this game, death is not the end, as it unlocks more powers for your character and allows you to learn from your mistakes. The game’s tagline, “Kill, die, learn, repeat,” perfectly encapsulates its gameplay.
The second game being added is “Slayaway Camp: Netflix and Kill,” an exclusive puzzle title. In this game, players control a killer named Skullface who is loose in a summer camp. The objective is to eliminate camp counselors in as few moves as possible by sliding Skullface around the stage. The game offers various creative ways to dispatch the counselors, including squishing and decapitating them.
To access the games in Netflix’s library, follow these steps:
1. Download the Netflix app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Sign in to your Netflix account within the app.
3. Scroll down until you see the “Mobile Games” carousel.
4. Tap on a game to learn more about it.
5. Tap “Get Game” to download the game you’re interested in.
Once you confirm the download, the game will start downloading on your device like any other app. In addition to the new Halloween-themed games, Netflix Games also offers titles like Oxenfree 2, WrestleQuest, and The Queen’s Gambit Chess.
Netflix continues to innovate and expand its offerings to provide entertainment beyond just streaming TV shows and movies. With the addition of mobile games, subscribers can enjoy a variety of interactive experiences on their devices.
