Google’s Pixel Buds Pro Introduce Conversation Detection and Other Exciting Features, Similar to AirPods Pro 2

Sony was the first company to introduce a conversation detection feature in its headphones and earbuds. However, Apple and Google have now followed suit by adding this feature to their own products through software updates. Google has announced that current and new owners of its flagship Pixel Buds Pro will receive a firmware update with several new features.

These features include a hearing wellness monitor, improved call quality with support for Bluetooth Super Wideband, and a new low-latency gaming mode. The firmware update is set to roll out today.

These updates were leaked online prior to the official announcement by Google at its launch event for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones and Pixel Watch 2. Google also unveiled two new colors for the Pixel Buds Pro – bay (light blue) and porcelain.

The new features for the Pixel Buds Pro include a five-band equalizer for customized sound, spatial audio with head tracking, conversation detection, Bluetooth Super Wideband for clearer voice quality, a hearing wellness monitor that tracks listening stats, and a low-latency gaming mode for a more dynamic gaming experience.

These updates aim to enhance the already impressive noise-canceling capabilities of the Pixel Buds Pro and keep Google in line with Apple’s AirPods Pro 2, which recently received their own updates.

Overall, these new features make the Pixel Buds Pro an even better choice for consumers looking for high-quality earbuds with advanced features.
