Himanta Sarma Admits: Assam’s Bridge is Absolutely Breathtaking

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has joined the trend of describing things as “just looking like a wow” by sharing stunning photos of the Kolia Bhomora Setu in Tezpur, Assam. Sarma took to social media to share his admiration for the bridge, saying, “So beautiful, So Elegant, Just Looking Like a WOW!” He also shared another photo of the bridge, highlighting the view of the mighty Himalayas on a winter morning. Sarma credited the low air quality index and pollution-free environment for enabling such a clear view of the mountains.

The Kolia Bhomora Setu, built in 1987 over the Brahmaputra River, connects Tezpur in Sonitpur district to Kaliabor in Nagaon District. The bridge, named after Assamese General Kalia Bhomora Phukan, spans a distance of 3 kilometers and plays a crucial role in connecting the seven Northeastern states to the rest of the country.

Sarma’s use of the “Just like a wow” trend, which has gained popularity on the internet, showcases the beauty of the bridge. This trend has not only captivated celebrities and athletes but also politicians, demonstrating its widespread appeal.
