The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released CCTV footage alleging that hostages were taken into Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital during the October 7 attacks. According to IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari, the footage was made public on Sunday, November 19, and purportedly shows hostages being taken from Israeli territory.
In the video, one of the hostages can be seen lying on a hospital bed, appearing to be injured, while the other is seen walking under the watch of armed gunmen. The IDF claims that the hostages are a Nepalese civilian and a Thai civilian.
Furthermore, Hagari stated that the body of 19-year-old soldier Noa Marciano, who the IDF alleges was abducted on October 7, was found in a nearby building close to the al-Shifa Hospital. Israeli authorities have also discovered a tunnel at the location, which they assert served as a Hamas command center.
It is important to note that these claims made by the IDF have not been verified by Storyful.
