Intel, a world-renowned company, has recently announced a significant extension and expansion of its strategic partnership with Acer. This partnership, which is primarily through Acer’s Predator gaming brand, is set to become an exclusive OEM partner for two significant esports competitions – Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 EFG – and this partnership is expected to last through 2024. This strategic collaboration between these two industry leaders will lead to Acer Predator becoming the exclusive OEM partner for a series of esports competitions organized by EFG. The partnership will span across flagship events such as the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM), which will be held in several global cities including Chengdu, Dallas and Cologne. In addition to these, the ESL Pro League seasons 19 and 20, and ESL Challenger competitions that will be held in various global locations, will also come under this partnership.
The partnership also extends to Dota 2 events, including the ESL One competitions and DreamLeague online seasons. This will further cement Acer Predator’s presence in an unprecedented number of esports competitions, thus making it a household name in the gaming industry.
This collaboration is not just limited to in-person events. It also embraces the digital world, where Acer and EFG will continue to present cutting-edge gaming technology based on Intel processors. This is evident with the Predator Helios laptops and the Predator Orion series desktops, which will be the stars of the next events, including the online ones. This alliance gives Acer Predator visibility at both physical and online events, allowing esports fans to explore the latest innovations in gaming up close. The next event to mark on the calendar is IEM Katowice 2024, scheduled from 8 to 11 February.
