Israeli Strike on Residential Building in Nabatiyah Results in 11 Fatalities

Reports from Lebanese media have detailed a tragic incident that transpired on the evening of February 14, where at least 11 individuals lost their lives following an IDF strike on a building situated in the town of Nabatiyeh.

The digital news outlet, An-Nashra, provided a timeline of the unfortunate event, documenting that the attack, involving a guided missile, occurred at approximately 21:30. The target of this offensive was an apartment located within a multi-storey residential building on Marjayoun Street.

As per the reports published by the same news agency, the casualties of this calamitous incident included Hussein Barjawi, his spouse, and their three offspring. Lebanon24.com, another news platform, further revealed that several individuals who were closely related to the Barjawi family also succumbed to the attack.

The aftermath of the explosion resulted in structural damage to the building, manifesting in the form of visible cracks. This, in turn, raised concerns about the potential collapse of the structure, leading to a halt in the removal of the resultant debris for safety reasons.

Contrary to what some might expect, Lebanon24.com asserted that the residential building which was targeted in the attack did not serve as a base for Hezbollah operatives.
