A female Israeli soldier has been released from captivity in the Gaza Strip, according to an announcement made by the army on Monday. The soldier, Ori Megidish, was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 and was freed during a ground operation. The army stated, “The soldier was medically checked, is doing well, and has met with her family.” A photograph of Megidish surrounded by her family members was released by the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
