Malayalam Actress Renjusha Menon, 35, Found Dead in Trivandrum Apartment

Malayalam actress Renjusha Menon, 35, was found dead in her apartment in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. Her body was discovered hanging in the flat she shared with her husband, fellow actor Manoj. While it is believed to be a case of suicide, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and an autopsy will be conducted.

Renjusha Menon, a native of Kochi, started her career as a TV show anchor before transitioning to TV serials. She made her acting debut on the small screen with the serial “Sthree” and went on to appear in various projects. Known for her supporting roles in television shows and movies like “City of God,” “Marykkundoru Kunjaadu,” “Bombay March,” and “Karyasthan,” among others, she gained popularity and became a household name.

In addition to her acting career, Menon worked as a producer in several serials and was also a professional Bharatanatyam dancer. She is survived by her father C G Ravindranath and mother Umadevi.

Just hours before her death, the actress posted a funny video on Instagram with her “Anandha Ragam” co-star Sreedevi Anil.

This tragic incident follows the recent suicide of another Malayalam actor, Aparna Nair. The 33-year-old actor, known for her roles in movies and serials, was found hanging in her room at her residence.
