A homeowner in Mid-City, Los Angeles, had a terrifying experience when a group of suspects pulled guns on him as he approached his home over the weekend. The entire incident was captured on the homeowner’s surveillance cameras. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 4, around 7:30 p.m. The homeowner is seen on camera walking up to his house, holding a drink and taking out his keys. Suddenly, a person dressed in all-black clothing rushes up to him from behind. The homeowner, who was wearing earbuds at the time, said he felt someone run up behind him and put a gun to him. The homeowner threw his drink at the suspect, causing them to run off. In response, the homeowner pulled out his own gun from his waistband and opened fire. He stated that he has a concealed carry permit. Another camera angle revealed that there were actually two alleged perpetrators who jumped the homeowner’s front yard fence as he was walking to his front door. The shots fired scared off both suspects. The homeowner expressed uncertainty about whether he hit either of them. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the attempted robbery. The homeowner hopes that such an incident does not occur again, stating that anyone who tries to enter his house will “die for trying.” He emphasized that there was only one shot to get in, and that was it.
