Pashinyan Departs for France

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has embarked on a two-day working trip to France, accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan. This news was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office, which also stated that the delegation traveling with Pashinyan comprises members of both the executive and legislative branches of the Armenian government.

During his visit, Prime Minister Pashinyan has a scheduled meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. This meeting is expected to take place today in Paris. Alongside this, Pashinyan is also expected to have discussions with several other key French officials. These include the President of the French Senate, Gerard Larchet, the Prime Minister of France, Gabriel Atal, and the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.

The Armenian authorities have further revealed that Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Macron will be attending a significant ceremony at the Paris Pantheon. They will be joined by Anna Hakobyan and Brigitte Macron, the wives of the Armenian Prime Minister and French President respectively. The ceremony is to honor and enshrine the remains of Misak Manushyan, an Armenian hero of the Resistance Movement, in the Pantheon. This major event signifies the recognition of Manushyan as one of the greatest figures in French history.
