Possible Design of Next Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Foldable Revealed

Unofficial reports have been shown by the websites SmartPrix and OnLeaks, revealing what could be the aesthetics of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. This is Samsung’s next big release in the realm of high-end folding devices. The images depict a fresh aesthetic, bearing a close resemblance to the recent Galaxy S24 Ultra. Distinctively squared corners replace the rounded shapes that were typical of the predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. When opened, the dimensions of the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 are approximately 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm, indicating a slight decrease in height and an increase in width compared to the predecessor. The primary display has a diagonal of 7.6 inches, while the external secondary screen is about 6.2 inches. Despite the redesign, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to retain characteristic features of the previous model, including a three-camera system on the back. There are also three microphones and a speaker grill at the top of the device, with another microphone, speaker grill and the USB-C connection at the bottom.

The control buttons for volume and power remain on the right side of the device, while the compartment for the SIM card is located on the left. Samsung is yet to release the official technical specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, however, predictions from Smartprix suggest the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy processor. It is likely to be available with either 12GB or 16GB RAM and a maximum storage capacity of 1TB. Both the internal and external displays are expected to be OLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The camera system is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, alongside a 10-megapixel front camera for selfies. Samsung is likely to reveal additional details at the upcoming Unpacked event scheduled for July.
