Producers Show Support for Javier Milei at Expoagro

Today, under the hot sun, the chant of “Wig, wig” resonated as a crowd eagerly awaited the arrival of President Javier Milei at Expoagro. The wait, which lasted over an hour, was filled with a mix of majority producers and workers from various sectors such as machinery, banking, and input companies.

Among the crowd was Nicolás Aladio, who journeyed from the city of Luque in Córdoba to attend the exhibition and show his support for President Milei. He believes that the President is bringing about a shift in political perception and is committed to eliminating all unnecessary expenses. Aladio, a farmer who exports wheat, corn, sunflower, and alfalfa, was hopeful about the potential reduction in withholdings.

Although Aladio understands that withholdings can’t be lowered immediately, he is optimistic about the future and the different expectations and excitement that exist in the field.

Accompanied by Guillermo Francos, Karina Milei, Manuel Adorni, Juan Pazos, and Fernando Vilella, President Milei attended the country’s most significant agricultural fair on Tuesday.

Businessman and producer Pedro Tureniec, a native of San Nicolás, expressed his strong belief in President Milei. He too had waited for Milei’s visit to the fair to greet him.

A producer who plants sunflowers in Santiago del Estero and owns a soybean and sunflower expeller plant in Buenos Aires town expressed his hope that President Milei’s leadership would be a progressive step for the country. He criticized previous leaders for prioritizing the wrong people instead of the working class.

He also commended the President’s honesty, emphasizing that what truly matters is what you accomplish in this country. He expressed his dismay at the loss of education, respect, and skilled labor in the country. However, he holds onto hope, not for himself but for his grandchildren.

He mentioned that he has 100 employees and has wanted to expand for many years, but was hindered by Kirchner’s policies. Now, he believes they will be able to grow steadily and realistically.

His only request to Javier Milei, one that resonates throughout the agricultural sector, is to be allowed to work and have clear rules for production. He does not wish for any regulations.

Paulo Oliver, a producer in Bandera, Santiago del Estero, emphasized the need for a difficult but necessary transition. He expressed his desire for politicians to put the country first.

He urged the leaders to stop focusing on personal gains and instead concentrate on the people and their needs, thereby creating a conducive environment for work.
