Ranbir Kapoor’s Blockbuster Film Achieves Rs 300 Crore Milestone

New Delhi: In just one week since its release, the film “Animal” has already joined the prestigious Rs 300-crore club. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that the movie, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, has earned a total of Rs 338.63 crore in all languages, with the Hindi version alone grossing Rs 300.81 crore.

Taran Adarsh praised the film’s performance, stating, “Animal is sensational… Packs an extraordinary total in week 1…Third biggest 7 days of all time. Biggest 7-day total for a film released on non-holiday. Biggest 7-day total for a film that faced a clash with another film. Highest grossing ‘A’ certified film.” He further broke down the film’s box office progress, revealing the daily earnings: Fri 54.75 cr, Sat 58.37 cr, Sun 63.46 cr, Mon 40.06 cr, Tue 34.02 cr, Wed 27.80 cr, Thu 22.35 cr. The total for the Hindi version alone is Rs 300.81 crore.

Taran Adarsh also shared the collection numbers for the non-Hindi versions of the film, stating that it earned Rs 37.82 crore in South Indian languages. The total collection for all languages amounts to Rs 338.63 crore. He also compared the film’s weekly box office numbers with Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” and Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2”.

“Animal” features an ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri alongside Ranbir and Rashmika in lead roles. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal’s “Sam Bahadur” as both movies were released on December 1.
