Samsung Teases Exciting Galaxy Launch Coming Up This Week

Samsung India has hinted at a product launch on October 4th through a new header image. The image features a pale green background with three camera circles, which are iconic to Samsung’s Galaxy smartphone camera setup. The text on the image reads “The New Epic” along with the launch date.

While it’s unclear what exactly this “new epic” refers to, it is speculated that it could be the Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition. Leaks about the Galaxy S23 FE suggest that it may come in a new palette of brighter colors, including a pastel green option.

Samsung typically releases its flagship phones early in the year and follows up with a Fan Edition before the holiday season. These Fan Edition versions usually have slightly trimmed-down features but come at a lower price point. Since the Galaxy S23 was launched in February, fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of the Galaxy S23 FE.

There have also been rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S24, which may feature a new flat edge design, but that phone is not expected until 2024.

As for the upcoming days leading up to October 4th, we will have to wait and see what Samsung has in store. Google is also planning to launch its new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones on the same day. Fall is typically a busy season for tech-related launches, with companies trying to capture consumer attention ahead of the holiday shopping season. Apple recently kicked off the tech season with its September 12th event, where it announced the new iPhone 15 models and the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2.
