Sukesh Chandrashekar’s Luxury Car Collection Set for Auction in Bengaluru

The Income Tax Department in Bengaluru is set to auction the high-end and luxury vehicles owned by jailed alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar next week. This auction is part of the department’s efforts to recover the dues Chandrashekar owes to several institutions. According to sources, the e-auction will take place on November 28 and will include 11 cars and a bike.

The vehicles up for auction include a BMW M5, Toyota Prado, Range Rover, Lamborghini, Jaguar XKR Coupe, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Innova Crysta, Toyota Fortuner, Nissan Teana, and Porsche. In addition, Chandrashekar’s sports cruiser bike, Ducati Diavel, will also be auctioned. The price of these vehicles ranges from Rs 2.03 lakh to Rs 1.74 crore, according to a notice issued by the IT department.

These vehicles were seized by the department from various parts of the country, including Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and will be auctioned online. They are currently being kept at the Central Revenue building for inspection until Friday. The department has stated that the vehicles are in good condition.

Sources reveal that Chandrashekar owes Rs 308.48 crore in dues to various government institutions as of November 10. The decision to auction his vehicles was made in order to recover these outstanding dues. The vehicles were confiscated by the IT department in 2018.

Chandrashekar, who is currently in jail, is accused of scamming Aditi Singh by promising to secure the release of her husband, who was imprisoned in a money laundering case. In addition, he is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in a separate money laundering case.
