Tragic Inside Police Station Incident: Woman Accidentally Shot in the Head by Cop on Camera

In a shocking incident in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a woman was accidentally shot by a police officer while waiting for her passport verification at a police station. The incident was captured on a disturbing video that has since gone viral.

The woman, identified as Ishrat, was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The incident occurred at around 2:50 pm, and the accused policeman is currently missing.

According to the victim’s family, Ishrat had been facing harassment from the officer in charge of her passport verification, who was demanding money from her. An argument ensued between them, and it is alleged that the officer shot her in the heat of the moment.

Jeeshan, a relative of the injured woman, stated, “She had visited the police station for passport inquiry. She was getting calls for money. Don’t know who shot her. Don’t know about the money demanded. There was an argument between them.”

The video footage shows Ishrat standing with a man, waiting for their turn, when the police officer enters the room and is handed a gun by a colleague. As the officer tests the weapon, it misfires, and the bullet hits Ishrat, causing her to collapse.

In response to the incident, Inspector Manoj Sharma has been immediately suspended for negligence, and a criminal case has been registered against him. The injured woman is currently receiving medical treatment, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

It is important to note that Ishrat was planning to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, a mini pilgrimage, before this tragic incident occurred.
