TV Actor Bhupinder Singh Arrested for Allegedly Killing Man, Injuring 3 in Eucalyptus Trees Dispute in UP

A well-known television actor has been taken into custody after allegedly shooting at his neighbors, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to three others. The incident occurred during a dispute over the cutting of eucalyptus trees in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.

The actor, Bhupinder Singh, known for his roles in popular TV shows like ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’ and ‘Madhubala,’ was in the process of setting up a fence near his farm in Bijnor. Adjacent to his property is the agricultural land owned by Gurdeep Singh. The conflict arose when Bhupinder decided to have some eucalyptus trees removed for the fence.

The disagreement quickly escalated into a physical altercation, with Bhupinder and three of his companions assaulting Gurdeep Singh’s family members. In the midst of the brawl, Bhupinder used his licensed revolver to open fire. The shooting tragically resulted in the death of Gurdeep Singh’s 22-year-old son, Govind, and caused injuries to Gurdeep himself, his son Amrik, and wife Beero Bai, who are currently receiving medical treatment.

Bhupinder has been arrested on charges of murder, attempted murder, and causing voluntary harm, along with violations of the Arms Act. Additionally, three of his associates, Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjant Singh, have also been taken into custody.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing as authorities gather more information and evidence.
