Two Brothers Fatally Stabbed in Brutal Attack by Gang of Six at Uttar Pradesh Wedding

Two brothers were fatally stabbed by six men after a fight broke out at a wedding in the Khetasarai area of Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, according to police reports on Wednesday.

All six suspects have been apprehended following a brief encounter, authorities confirmed.

Shahganj Circle Officer, Shubham Todi, stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday around 11 pm when a wedding procession reached Khetasarai town. Some guests approached a makeshift alcohol stall run by Ajay Prajapati (23) and his brother Ankit (20) to consume alcohol.

An altercation ensued between the two brothers and the wedding guests, resulting in the fatal stabbing, explained the police officer.

The siblings were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment but succumbed to their injuries. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, Todi added.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident, and all six suspects were arrested within five hours. During the encounter, Mukesh Bind, Nishu Bind, and Satish Bind sustained bullet injuries to their legs and have been hospitalized.
