UP Woman Brutally Raped, Tortured with Cigarettes, and Brutally Murdered with Axe in Horrific Incident

Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh: A horrific incident unfolded in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman was brutally raped, had her face burnt with cigarettes, and ultimately killed with an axe. The police have arrested the prime accused in the rape and murder case, Suraj Kumar Sonkar.

The incident occurred on December 3 when the victim, who had been entrusted with money for a job, failed to fulfill her promise. The accused, Sonkar, had given her money in exchange for a job opportunity. However, when the woman couldn’t secure him a job, Sonkar demanded his money back. The woman, however, kept delaying the repayment, leaving Sonkar in a state of uncertainty.

Driven to extreme anger, Sonkar decided to take matters into his own hands. He raped the woman, tortured her by burning her face with cigarettes, and then mercilessly killed her with an axe. The woman’s lifeless body was discovered by the roadside in Sultanpur, covered in injuries and bleeding from her ears.

The police wasted no time in registering a case and launching an investigation. They swiftly located and apprehended Sonkar, recovering key evidence such as an e-rickshaw, a mobile phone, and the axe used in the heinous crime.
