The attorney representing former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis believes that the recent unexpected guilty pleas of Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro have paved the way for a potential deal between Ellis and prosecutors. Frank Hogue, Ellis’ attorney, explained to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the timing was crucial in this situation. Although Ellis promptly dismissed a plea offer, which included a racketeering charge, from Georgia prosecutors, just three days later, they managed to reach an agreement on a cooperation deal that may allow Ellis to retain her law license. Hogue also expressed concerns about the case against Rudy Giuliani, stating that there are enough reasons for the former mayor to worry, and that Ellis would not be of assistance to him if called as a witness. However, Hogue believes that Giuliani’s troubles extend beyond his client.
