Alia Bhatt, along with her partner Ranbir Kapoor, is celebrating their daughter Raha’s first birthday this month. While Alia has shared some of her motherhood experiences, they have yet to reveal their child’s face to the public. In an interview with The Hindustan Times, Alia expressed her desire to protect her daughter from the media’s attention. She said, “I don’t want it to seem like I am hiding my daughter. I am proud of her. If the cameras were not rolling right now, I would put a giant image of her on the screen. I love her. I am proud of our baby. But we are new parents. We don’t know how we feel about her face splashed out all over the internet, she’s barely a year old.” Alia assured that she will share her baby’s face when she feels comfortable with the idea.
Last year, Alia and Ranbir welcomed their daughter and Alia announced the news on Instagram. Alia explained the meaning behind their daughter’s name, Raha, which holds beautiful meanings in different languages. She expressed her gratitude to Raha for bringing their family to life and making them feel complete.
In recent events, Alia and Ranbir have been seen together, attending various social gatherings. They recently attended Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday party where they were captured in a picture, with Alia hugging Ranbir. Karisma Kapoor, who shared the picture, captioned it as “Making memories with our friends and family.”
Alia and Ranbir also made a stylish appearance at the opening ceremony of the 141st International Olympic Committee session. They were twinning in royal blue outfits, with Alia wearing a royal blue salwar suit and Ranbir donning a blue sherwani. The couple posed hand-in-hand for the photographers.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently acting in and producing the action film “Jigra.” Her next project is a period drama titled “Baiju Bawra,” in which she will star alongside Ranveer Singh. Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for his upcoming film “Animal,” which also features Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
