An offshore Pacific storm is set to bring steady rain to Southern California for several days, despite the region currently experiencing sunny weather. The National Weather Service has predicted a “100 percent chance” of rain starting on Wednesday morning and lasting through most of Saturday. The Southland is expected to receive between one to three inches of rain during this period. The storm may also bring potential flooding and high surf due to strong southerly winds. Weather officials have stated that the region will experience cooler temperatures and increased rain chances as the storm system affects the area.
