Four Members of Andhra Pradesh Family Found Dead in Varanasi Guest House in Apparent Suicide, Police Say

Four members of a family from Andhra Pradesh tragically died by suicide in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, according to the police. The incident occurred on the third floor of a guest house in Devnathpura. Financial problems are believed to have led to this extreme step. An initial investigation revealed that the man, his wife, and their two sons were found hanging. The family had arrived in Varanasi on Sunday and were scheduled to check out on Wednesday. When the housekeeping staff noticed that the door remained closed, they entered the room and discovered the four hanging bodies. Upon receiving the information, police officials arrived at the scene, broke down the door, and took custody of the bodies. A suicide note written in Telugu was also found, mentioning a monetary dispute with someone in Andhra Pradesh. This incident follows another shocking case in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, where a doctor working with Railways allegedly murdered his wife and two children before taking his own life. The doctor had been suffering from depression and attempted to slit his wrists before resorting to hanging himself.
