Kolkata Police Sends Notice to BCCI Regarding Ticket Sales Information for India vs South Africa Match

The Kolkata Police has issued a notice to BCCI President Roger Binny regarding the alleged black marketing of tickets for the India vs South Africa World Cup cricket match at Eden Gardens. The notice, sent on Saturday evening, requested Binny to provide information and documents related to the ticket sales for the event to the investigating officer of Maidan police station.

According to a senior officer, the notice was issued amidst complaints of black marketing of tickets. The police have already arrested 19 individuals and confiscated 108 tickets involved in the illegal activity. Additionally, seven cases have been registered in connection with the black marketing of tickets.

The BCCI president has been asked to submit the required documents and information personally or through a competent person from his organization during working hours on Tuesday.
